Romney to campaign in Va. Beach Sunday

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Republican presidential candidate Mitt Romney is planning another campaign stop in Hampton Roads, his third visit to the area this month.

Romney's campaign confirmed to WAVY.com a victory rally will be held Sunday, Oct. 28 at Farm Bureau Live Amphitheater in Virginia Beach. It's the same venue where President Barack Obama held a campaign rally one month earlier.

Sunday's event is scheduled to begin at 7:45 p.m. Doors will open at 5:45 p.m.

Romney held a campaign event in Newport News on Oct. 8 and was back in Hampton Roads, for a rally at Tidewater Community College in Chesapeake on Oct. 17.

Vice President Joe Biden and his family will be in Virginia Beach campaigning the same weekend as Romney.  Specific details surrounding his visit have not been announced.
