INTERNATIONAL LEADERS FORUM -- The National Democratic Institute hosts a series of bipartisan panel discussions during the Democratic National Convention covering topics such as the U.S. political process, domestic and foreign policy issues, and media coverage of the presidential race. The panels are organized as part of NDIs International Leaders Forum, which will host nearly 400 guests from more than 100 countries, including current and former heads of state, ministers, members of parliament, heads of political parties and U.S.-based ambassadors from around the world.

DEMONSTRATIONS AND PROTESTS
Sept. 4 - 6. 11:30 a.m. - 3 p.m. ICE SCULPTURE -- A large ice sculpture of the words Middle Class will melt at the Democratic National Convention in Charlotte, N.C. The work is by artists Nora Ligorano and Marshall Reese. The sculpture they when installed weighs over 2,000 pounds and measures 15 feet wide. Individual letters are 4 feet tall. A similar ice sculpture was installed in Tampa last week for the Republican National Convention.
