President Obama to stop in Norfolk

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — President Barack Obama will be in Norfolk the same week as the Democratic National Convention.

According to campaign officials, the President will be in Norfolk Tuesday, Sept. 4. for a campaign event.

Ahead of that Virginia visit, President Obama is set to travel to Charlottesville to attend a campaign event there on Wednesday, Aug. 29.

The convention is set to begin Sept. 3 in Charlotte, N.C. and last through Sept. 6.
