RICHMOND, Va. (AP) — First lady Michelle Obama is set to make campaign stops in Virginia Friday.
Officials say the first lady is scheduled to appear at Main Street Arena in Charlottesville Friday afternoon. She also is set to speak at Goolrick Hall at the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg Friday evening. Tickets are being distributed on a first come, first serve basis at the Organizing for America offices in both cities Wednesday.
The first lady is making the trip into the battleground state where polls show President Barack Obama with a slight lead over Republican nominee-apparent Mitt Romney.
The president barnstormed Virginia last weekend. He's trying for a strategically critical encore of his 2008 Virginia victory, the first by a Democratic presidential candidate in the state since Lyndon Johnson in 1964.

We're under attack. They have high Arabs here. They gave no money. Dept of Defense's kids live nearby & there are many & they are cops too..and can counsel people out of wanting money but dealing with being poor and due to bad habits like drugs... I don't do any. I wanted money solely and have my own 4yr accredit. catholic college psych degree.

Did you ever have a guy...holding a plastic gun barrel toward you..and as you rounded the bend... and he looked like the little imper in Colorado's shooting in Theatre ? Former HUD buffalo employee here who survived supposed Gaddafi hits in 1990's and 7 other employees reportedly dead due to medical hits & noncures. Actually they non-diagnosed the problems as a war effort. ded's ded though & that may be all that matters if that's their approach. No one has updated me, nor paid me for the feds following me to eat at Zorbas in Depew/Lancaster NY and arrested Mubarak there and noticed him due to his calling out to me. He recognized me & I recognized him & always thought he was the school's gym teacher since 1979. He was there in 1979 and on up & no one was talking to me when I was working and now. No towns' people...2012. Next: Elections 2012! Ok.
