Funeral planned for Sen. Yvonne Miller

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Wake and funeral services have been planned for Sen. Yvonne Miller, who passed away in her Norfolk home on July 3, one day before turning 78.

According to Sen. Louis Lucas, there will be a wake service from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Monday, July 9 at the Metropolitan Funeral Home located at 7246 Granby St. in Norfolk.

A funeral service will then be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday at New Hope Church of God in Christ located at 3232 Brest Ave. in Norfolk.

Both services are open to the public.
