VanZett
why do we allow these extensions to continue? They were given their time and should end. The "clean fuel' is a complete misnomer. They have gas engines like any other and have MPGs. There are many qualified CF vehicle which burn more gas than non-CF vehicles. How is an Escape, Lexus or Mariner, etc. hybrid with 30 MPG cleaner than a regular Civic, Tercel, Focus, etc. that gets better than 35 MPG. These are HOV lanes and should be used as such to promote car and van pools, etc. I would like to know what agenda is being followed or whose favor is being curried to continue these ridiculous extensions for the few who have these pre 2006 plates.
